Excellence in Secure Cloud Computing Research and Education!

UTSA’s Institute for Cyber Security (ICS) established the NSF-supported CREST Center for Security and Privacy Enhanced Cloud Computing (C-SPECC) in September 2017, in partnership with UTSA’s Colleges of Sciences, Business, Education and Engineering, and the Open Cloud Institute. C-SPECC is a unit within ICS. Dr. Ram Krishnan serves as the C-SPECC Director and Lead Principal Investigator.

C-SPECC goals are:

  1. to pursue excellence in research, innovation, and education in secure cloud computing,
  2. to increase participation of underrepresented groups in high-tech computing, and
  3. to pursue innovative research-based educational strategies in this arena.
